Delhi Capitals beat Hyderabad in IPL final for the first time

Delhi Capitals have reached the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the first time. Nepali leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has entered the final of the Delhi Capitals Indian Premier League (IPL).

Delhi entered the final by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 17 runs in the second qualifier last night.

Batting in reply to Delhi’s target of 190 at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad lost eight wickets in 20 overs and managed to score only 172 runs.

Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Delhi lost 3 wickets in 20 overs and scored 189 runs. Delhi has entered the final for the first time in the history of IPL.

However, this season’s leg-spinner Sandeep did not get a chance to play. Delhi will now play the final against defending champions Mumbai Indians for the title.
