A joint press conference was organized by District Election Officer cum District Officer Dr. Nilesh Ramchandra Deore and Superintendent of Police Dr. Satyaprakash on the occasion of the end of voting for the third and final phase of Bihar Legislative Assembly General Election 2020.

District Election Officer congratulated and thanked all the polling personnel / officials / police officers / personnel of Para-military / Home Defense Corps / Health Department officials including Madhubani residents for their significant contribution in the fear-free, peaceful, clean and successful election. .

The total number of polling stations in the district is 2711. Today the polling took place from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Till 06 pm on the basis of provisional data received from their electoral officials, the voting percentage status is as follows: –

31- Harlakhi – 58.42%

32- Benipatti-51.62%

33- Khajuli-56.28%

34- Babu Barhi -55.21%

35- BISFI-54.30%

40 – Gourd – 61.85%

Thus the district’s polling percentage was 56.28%.

Today, the District Election Officer-cum-District Magistrate, Madhubani, Dr. Nilesh Ramchandra Devre was himself monitoring the situation in the district control room from 05:30 am. Also, conducted surprise inspection of many polling stations and gave several instructions to the officials present to conduct a fair vote.
89 companies of Paramilitary Force and BMP were deputed for comprehensive security at all polling stations.

In addition, the police force and Bihar Defense Corps force were deputed.
